One of the most amazing promises found anywhere in the Word of God is this; “You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you (Isaiah 26.3 - NIV).”    The Amplified version reads as follows: “You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You.”

I see two parts to this verse.  Our’s and God’s.  God’s directive to us is to stay focused, to keep our eyes firmly fixed and focused on Him.  He tells us that if we will do that one thing, stay focused on Him (that is God), He will do His part, and that is to bless us with perfect peace.  No earthly source can make that promise because there is none could come even close to delivering on the promise.

When our world is turned upside down by an unexpected diagnosis or crises, and when it seems like our world is unraveling, the one thing we need more than ever is peace.  Peace to handle the news, peace so we can focus and begin making wise choices and decisions, and peace so we can move forward and continue living.

There is no other place to turn that can make you this offer.  PERFECT PEACE.  Stick with us and we will pursue how to get a handle on this kind of blessing.
