Loving Mondays?  Really?  Most people generally understand that Monday morning is the most dreaded day of the week.  The hardest time of the week, the time when there are more heart attacks than any other day of the week, and the time when we expect complaints to pour in from the events of the weekend.

October 25, 2010, has forever changed my perspective on Mondays. Members of our Life Giver group at Living Word Community Church in Dumont, NJ showed up expecting to “feed on God’s faithfulness.”  Not one soul left disappointed.  One after another members shared how God had showed up to address deep personal needs that had just been shared two weeks before.  All present were overwhelmed with such a wonderful outpouring of God’s mercy and grace.

The following morning I called Diane who leads the group and shared that this had been one of if not the best group we had ever had since beginning this ministry many years before.  What was it that made the night so special?  Was it all the answers to prayer or something else?

There is no question that the answers were exciting, but more than the gifts of grace was the sense of the presence of “The Giver” of every good gift, God Himself.

We had believed for two weeks.  We expected.  We trusted.  Our hearts were in agreement.  And God, The Giver of every good and perfect gift showed up.

I look forward to those meetings more than ever before.  We all are looking forward to those Monday meetings.  We are looking forward, as never before, to the coming of “The Giver” Himself.  Our Mondays have been transformed.

Will YOU let God transform your Mondays? Let Him, the Giver of Life, help YOU to fall in love with Mondays!  All things are possible for Him.
