The outing is being named in memory of Kitty Wilson who had been a part of
Life Givers since 5 days after her diagnosis and was going to be an integral
part of the expanding outreach. Kitty’s presence is and will be greatly missed,
but her influence will be felt for years to come.
Kitty and her husband Ted, pictured with me below, played together at the
2008 outing and her “infectious spirit” impacted all who were present. Kitty
embodied and lived what we work for on a daily basis. We are believing for a
great turn-out this year to honor Kitty and all others who “live courageously”
while still fighting battles with various diseases.
